Now that the structure (navigation, text-hierarchies, search options etc.) of your website is clear, it is time to think of the visual aspects.
The next stage is to translate the structured content into efficient design that
- makes it easy for the visitors of your website to find their way around
- encourages them to interact with it
- communicates visually your brand, your service, your (corporate) image or whatever message you wish to convey to your target group(s).
During this stage you will receive regular drafts and updates!
The next stage is to make the design work as a website. This involves converting it into HTML, CSS and other web-related script languages and web standards. Depending on your project, the installation and configuration of a content management system (CMS) such as WordPress might be required. Addtional plug-ins may be needed to increase the number of technical features and functions on your website or to make it more secure.
